International Tourism Fair will be held in June in Da Nang

The 5th Asian Beach Game (ABG5) which is the most important sports event in 2016 will be held in September. Also, the Beach-leisure & M.I.C.E Travel Mart and the International Sport and Tourism Conference will take place in June 2016 in Da Nang.

 

The Beach-leisure & M.I.C.E Travel Mart (BMTM 2016) will be held from 24-26 June 2016 in Tien Son Sports Center (Da Nang city). This event aims to promote the brand of high-class beach-leisure tourism and MICE tourism, contributing to stimulating tourism and increasing the number of international tourists to the Central region and Vietnam. It's also an opportunity for sellers and buyers, visitors and the public to meet each other and introduce destinations, tourism products, marine sport and entertainment services, in addition to facilitating travel enterprises, especially medium and small ones, to expand business cooperation with international partners. The BMTM 2016 is expected to attract around 200 booths with the participation of many companies in the country as well as those from ASEAN and Northeast Asian countries (China, Japan, and South Korea). In the framework of the BMTM 2016, a series of activities will be held including seminars on beach-leisure and MICE tourism, key tourist markets of central region; Buyers and the Media programs with the attendance of 100-150 international buyers, 50-100 domestic buyers and 30 international media agencies; promotion programs; gala dinner introducing Vietnamese cuisine and traditional art performance. Furthermore, many other activities of exchange, photo exhibition aiming to promote Vietnamese people, culture and attractions to visitors and the media will be hosted.

Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho said: "It is an honor and pride when Da Nang is the host of the International Tourism Fair, the International Sport, and Tourism Conference and the Asia Beach Game 5th (ABG5). We will mobilize all resources and make a great effort to complete big responsibility well and determine to arrange these events successfully".

At the end of the conference, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh appreciated the positive efforts and preparations for Da Nang BMTN 2016. He emphasized that this is a good chance for Viet Nam generally and Da Nang specifically to promote and broadcast the tourism advantages to many countries all around the world. Accordingly, it is also the political responsibilities of our country so we have to make strong efforts to hold these events successfully.

In the afternoon of the same day, the National Steering Board for Asia Beach Game 5th (ABG5) – Da Nang 2016 also held a conference on preparation and organization for ABG 5 in Da Nang under the leadership of the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, the Chairman of Vietnam Olympic Committee, the Chairman of the National Steering Board for Asia Beach Game 5th (ABG5) and the Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho and the leaders of relevant Ministries and branches.
