Dragon Bridge is the newest bridge across the Han River. Because the bridge looks like a dragon. That why we call Dragon Bridge. The bridge is 666m long and width 37.5m with and there are 6 lanes. It was officially unveiled on March 29, 2013. The bridge was designed by Ammann & Whitney Consulting designer with Louis Berger Group.
This modern bridge crosses the Han River at Le Dinh Duong / Bach Dang roundabout. This is the shortest way from Da Nang International Airport to Da Nang City center. Especially it goes direct line to the beach. My Khe Beach and Non-Nuoc Beach on the eastern edge of the city.
The bridge was designed and built in the shape of a dragon capable of flushing and spraying the real water. According to the design, the dragon on the bridge can spray fire in two minutes and the next 3 minutes spraying water has made the bridge has become impressive. This is one of the most unique and attractive in Da Nang city. Currently, fire and spray times begin at 21:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and major Da Nang holidays.
